Scarlett Witch, Mordred the Mystic and the current version of Doctor Strange are kidnapped by blue energy balls. Their captors are part of a war. While they have perfected capture technology, this is not enough to defeat their adversaries. 
 
Blade, hunting down the the murders of occult dabblers, finds the prison the trio is being held at. Much chaos ensues.
